Fun and Strategic Match 3

This review is long overdue. I have been playing this game since it first came out in January. I have put in around 60 hours into the game so far. This game is SO much more than a Match 3 game. You have little monsters scattered across the board and your goal is to get them home. You do this by matching 3 or more gems. The monsters eat their own colored gems, and work their way home.

There are a good variety of powerups, which bring some strategy to the game. And obstacles can block the way. Ice, rocks (requiring several nearby matches to remove) and the intense slime (a green, continually oozing substance that sets my heart pumping as I feverishly try and remove it from the board). The developers have also added a special casual mode for those players who may not want to deal with the obstacles. An exciting new Survival Mode was added where you play until time is up. Starting with 10 minutes, there are a variety of ways to help increase your time, giving you increased game play for this mode.

For me, this is one of those games where I tell myself I am going to play for just a minute and find myself still playing two, or even three hours later. Check out the Lite version as a good example of the game.

The develpers have been extremely helpful and have listened to user feedback.
